I recently visited a local coffee shop that had a unique system for handling its customers. There were about 5-8 customers in the shop while I was there: 3 at the front counter and 5 at the back. The process was simple - customers placed their order at the counter and the waitress brought their coffee to the table. The service was quick enough to handle a large group of customers.
Something I
noticed was that all the customers seemed happy and content. They were
chatting and enjoying their coffee while staying back for some good
conversations. The shop had a laid-back and cozy atmosphere that really
appealed to the patrons. It also has a nice, cozy grass sitting area.
However, I also noticed that some of the employees seemed unhappy. I speculated that this may be due to the fact that there was only one employee to bring the beverages to the tables. While the service was quick, it may have been overwhelming for just one person to handle multiple orders at once.
